The Controller class has an enableGesture() method that you can use to enable recognition for the types of gestures you use. Important: before using gestures in your application, you must enable recognition for each gesture you intend to use. The Leap Motion software reports each tap with a single Gesture object. The Leap Motion software updates the progress of these gestures each frame. The gestures Circle and Swipe are continuous. Coordinate transformation between the palm position detected by Leap motion gesture sensor and the tool center point (TCP) of the desktop robotic arm is calculated using the method of spatial mapping. Gesture objects referring to the same movement share the same ID value. A Leap motion senser, a desktop robotic arm and one computer are used to construct the system. For example, a movement from side to side with the hand can indicate a swipe gesture, while a finger poking forward can indicate a screen. The Leap watches the activity within its field of view for certain movement patterns typical of a user gesture or command. If the gesture continues over time, the Leap Motion software adds updated Gesture objects to subsequent frame. The Gesture class represents a recognized movement by the user. For example, a swipe up gesture can maximize the active window while a swipe down can minimize it. AeroTouch lets you easily configure different gestures to perform any action for any app. When the Leap Motion software first classifies a movement pattern as a gesture, it adds a Gesture object to the frame.
